about jpl fly fishing
JPL Fly Fishing led by Captain John Livingston is a charter service in the Lower Laguna Madre of South Texas specializing in skinny water fly fishing. The LLM is the most diverse saltwater fishery in the state, giving anglers the opportunity to catch many different game fish.
The bread and butter fish of this operation is the redfish due to its veracious appetite and willingness to feed in ankle deep water. The most encountered fish on the flats will be redfish, speckled trout, flounder, black drum, ladyfish, sheepshead and the occasional jack crevalle. There will also be occasional opportunities at fish such as tarpon and king mackerel in deeper water with cooperative weather.
My goal as an outfitter is to present my clients with the best possible opportunities at catching game fish on the fly, while having a good time. Book your South Padre Island fly fishing guide today!
